The Town of Kersey is a safe place to live, work and play. Working with the public we serve, the Kersey Police Department maintains order, protects our community and prevents crime by delivering prompt, professional and high quality police service. Dispatch services are providedВ by contract through the Weld County Communications Center. Accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Officers in the Department operate on a 12-hour schedule providing maximum coverage of the Town of Kersey, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. We are constantly vigilant in pursuit of the highest standards. The department maintains a fleet of 5 vehicles. Because we are striving to live our Jewish values through the lens of a dynamic modern world, we are constantly growing and evolving in pursuit of that goal. The Kersey Police Department handles approximately 5,000 calls for service annually. Har Sinai - Oheb Shalom Congregation is the combination of two historic Baltimore Reform synagogues working together to create one joyful, warm, inclusive, and socially conscious congregation. The department operates with a Chief of Police, Patrol Sergeant, Five Patrol Officers and a part-time Criminal Investigator.

The Kersey Police Department is staffed by 4 full time police officers and 4 Reserve Part-Time police officers. The Kersey Police Department is located in the rear of the Town Hall Complex. It is our goal to maintain a strong sense of community with our citizens, as we endeavor to provide the best law enforcement service possible, everyday. We uphold this dedication through the personal, professional, thorough, courteous, and vigilant pursuit of justice. The Kersey Police Department, as an agency, dedicates itself to the service and protection of the citizens of Kersey and the surrounding areas.
